PREPARATION
We prepare your project with a one-coat or three-coat process depending on the homeowner or contractor’s preference. We will apply a 2-ply craft paper 17 gauge wire for the 3-coat method, the one coat method will consist of a 2-ply craft paper, one inch drip wave foam board insulation and a 20 gauge wire. Our company prefers to apply the drip wave one coat system.
Classic Plastering will seal and caulk all exterior penetrations to ensure a water-tight shell.
APPLICATION
The brown /cement coat application will consist of an omega diamond wall cement with a consistent sand mixture. All walls will be water-cured for several days after application to ensure proper curing prior to color coat application.
FINISH
The acrylic color coat application will include and omega primer coat prior to the acrylic color coat finish. Smooth coat is usually the choice for most homeowners and our company specializes in acrylic smooth finishes. We will apply two coats of acrylic color coat over a diamond wall Brown coat in order to achieve a smooth finish.
